Edge to Edge Quilting

Instructor: Ann Shobert

Fee: $35

As most quilters know, there are many different quilting techniques, from free motion to long arm to hand quilting and more. The Edge to Edge Quilting by Amelie Scott is a new way of quilting “in the hoop” using machine embroidery. Each design connects to the next as you embroider and will look just like long arm quilting. The purchase of the instructional book and design CD is required with the class. There are 10 designs with different themes from flowers to leaves to holly and berries and more. There are also design CD’s available with many, many more beautiful designs to choose for your quilting projects. This technique is perfect for baby quilts and lap size throws. The quilting designs come in varied sizes and you can use your Oval, Maxi, or Jumbo hoops. Obtain a supply list from shop or instructor.
