Students will come to class with a simple quilt block already sewn (you will receive instructions when you sign up). We will use the block to practice using rulers. We feel it is very important to learn this technique on a quilt top that actually has seams and ditches. Discussion topics include supplies, samples, use of straight edge rulers to complete all of our in-the-ditch quilting, and use of a variety of curved rulers to create some fun designs to complete the quilt. A demonstration will also be provided on how to do a faux-piped binding.
